The impact of the one child policy on China’s economic fortunes has been given below,

a.  Policy helped to transform the role that woman play in Chinese Society. They are getting equal opportunities.

b. Financial benefits; to consider for families under the one child policy.

c. There were additional benefits for only having one child that went beyond money.

d.    Policy offered numerous exemptions that families could use.

e.    Jobs become available because of the policy.

f.   Policy is creating mandatory contraception and sterilization policies.

g. Encourage immigrants the people to move their countries. Immigration of young workers help to reduce the dependency ratio and leads to higher tax revenues as young immigrant works pay income tax and VAT without being eligible for state pension.

h.  Created the second problem which is a disparity in the gender ration at birth.

i.  It caused many parents to give up their children for adoption or abandon them.

j.     Families had little or no support left to them after death.
